Welcome to the Asset Management Resource Center

Municipalities, water and wastewater agencies across New England are charged with the responsibility to manage our water resources in a manner that supports our economic well-being, protects the environment, and nurtures safe and healthy living conditions. We do this by continuously re-investing in infrastructure that is collectively valued in the billions of dollars. To manage all this infrastructure responsibly, our communities strive to implement sustainable investment and management strategies that maximize infrastructure life and minimize the risk of consequential failures. The practice of Infrastructure Asset Management has been acknowledged throughout the world for providing the tools and processes that are up to the challenge of optimizing available funds to deliver the services our communities require while minimizing risk and the cost of managing infrastructure assets through their entire life cycle.
