PROMOTING EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM IN WASTEWATER OPERATIONS
What is Operations Challenge?
Operations Challenge is the “Wastewater Olympics” for professionals in the wastewater treatment industry. Teams of 4 members compete in 5 separate events: operations, maintenance, laboratory, safety, and collection systems, at a regional level to earn the right to represent NEWEA at the national WEF competition.
Interested but want to learn more? Check out Operations Challenge Training Day. This event is held in Spring and is YOUR chance to see what it’s all about. Come by yourself or bring a friend and register (it’s free) for a fun day of training, practice and networking with other operations professionals.
Watch a video produced by WEF to learn more about how participating in the Operations Challenge benefits your utility.
