We offer several sources of information to members as well as the general public. Link Library – Find links for wastewater organizations, local universities, training centers, government agencies, etc.

  • Latest News – Learn what’s happening in NEWEA and beyond.
  • Government Affairs – Assists members and the public to keep abreast of existing and proposed legislation for the water environment.  Development of policy and position statements on regulations, along with holding events to promote better understanding of regional water related issues.
  • Scholarships–  Available for students and professionals. Applications are required.
  • Publications – NEWEA offers two publications to its members.  The NEWEA Journal is published four times a year and includes technical papers, seminar proceedings, and advertisements.  The WaterLink newsletter is emailed on a monthly basis and provides the membership with current NEWEA information and seminar/training announcements.
  • Education Outreach – NEWEA has a variety of educational materials available for teachers and volunteers. Created for the 2014 President’s Challenge, the NEWEA Schoolkit makes presenting about wastewater, stormwater, and water conservation easy and fun.
