The New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC) is seeking a Division Director for the Water Resource Protection programs.
Candidate will manage Commission programs including water supply (drinking water, groundwater and source water), research, climate change, non-point source pollution, and stormwater. Will serve as Project Officer for the Lake Champlain Basin Program, including staff supervision and grant and sub-contract administration. Will act as a technical adviser for the Commission, state agency staff, and the public; and will provide regional guidance on program areas. Will work with the Deputy Director in developing annual plans and budgets.
Knowledge and understanding of federal environmental laws and regulations, and the ability to work effectively with both scientists and engineers, are required. A Master’s degree in environmental science, public policy, or natural science is preferred.
