Candidate will primarily be involved with municipal projects for wastewater treatment processes, serving as Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer. Work may include planning, scheduling, coordinating work of support staff and subconsultants, conducting field investigations, evaluation of equipment, systems and processes, report writing, design development of new and/or upgraded facilities and implementation of construction phase services. Candidate may also participate in new business development including preparing proposals, participating at interviews and assisting with contract negotiations. This position may require participation at presentations and meetings during evening hours.
Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering required

Ten (10) years minimum experience in planning, design and construction administration of new designs and upgrades to wastewater treatment facilities, with focus on nutrient reduction process design and development
Experience in developing designs for new wastewater treatment facilities, upgrades, expansions, retrofits and/or rehabilitation of existing wastewater treatment facilities, and/or pumping stations required
Experience should include equipment selection, design, specifications, quantity takeoffs, cost estimating and scheduling of construction activities
Must possess good technical and engineering design skills, analytical/financial/project management skills, and strategic planning skills
Must have strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
Required Computer Skills: MicrosoftTM Excel, Word and Outlook
Desired Background & Experience:Masters and/or PhD highly advantageous. Wastewater Treatment Operator’s Certification also a plus
Desired software applications include: Microsoft TM Project Scheduling; PowerPoint; AutoCAD and ArcView/GIS.
Experience with process software such as BIOWINTM very advantageous.
