Asset Management & Energy Specialty Conference

Join NEWEA’s Asset Management & Energy Committees for a two-day specialty conference that will explore data collection and evaluation, life cycle costing, sustainability and incorporating energy efficiency into asset management programs. A facility tour of Merrimack WWTF and Anheuser Busch anaerobic digester process will be offered. This conference is a “must” for all wastewater practitioners and industry professionals, especially those involved in asset management, reducing overall energy usage, and increasing the sustainability of their wastewater treatment facilities.

Call for Abstracts – Risk & Resiliency 2023

A Joint NEWEA & NYWEA Specialty Conference on Risk and Resiliency will take place in October 2023 in Stamford, CT.  The committees are currently requesting abstracts be submitted on Methodology and Case Studies incorporating the following:

  • Coastal Resiliency
  • Climate Changes
  • Risk Management/Framework
  • Technology – Smart sewers; real-time monitoring; GIS supporting resiliency
  • Cybersecurity – Collection systems technology
  • Emergency Management/Operations
