During the COVID-19 pandemic, essential workers provide necessary services to keep their communities safe and healthy. Among these essential workers are water professionals, who do the often-unseen work to provide communities with clean water, treat the water we use, and keep our water environment accessible.
To raise awareness about the key role of water professionals during the pandemic, NEWEA’s Public Awareness Committee produced “Thank You Water Workers”. This short video highlights the multitude of professionals who work at water facilities and promotes awareness of the vital services these professionals provide to their communities.
