NEWEA is excited to announce our member reception at WEFTEC 2015, taking place in Chicago next month. The reception will offer the opportunity to connect and network with other NEWEA members who are at the conference, along with Hors d’oeuvres and appetizers.
The event will run from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Sunday Sept. 27th, and will be held on the turf of historic Soldier Field. Located in the Museum Campus park, the field is within walking distance of NEWEA’s hotel, the Hilton Chicago. It is a great point of interest in the Chicago metro area, serving as the home of the NFL’s Chicago Bears, a venue for guests from U2 to President Obama, and as the oldest NFL stadium in the country. Soldier Field opened in 1924, and in 2003 it underwent great internal renovations. Now, it stands as a perfect blend of history and innovation – as well as being the nation’s oldest stadium, it is the first NFL stadium to be declared LEED- certified.
All NEWEA members are encouraged to attend this event! It is a great chance to meet other water quality professionals from New England, eat, and explore Chicago.
