Mr & Mrs Fish Program
International marine and environmental educators “Mr. and Mrs. Fish”, a.k.a Jeff and Deb Sandler of South Portland, Maine, will be performing 2, one-hour long marine education programs at the Fairview Elementary School in Auburn on Friday April 17.
Their performances are in honor of the men and women of the wastewater industry who clean and recycle our water. The wastewater industry’s efforts enable clean water to flow into the river and eventually down to the sea.
Using humor, colorful costumes and audience interaction, Mr. and Mrs. Fish will educate about life in the sea, while delightfully reminding the students that “thanks to clean water, the ocean remains a wonderful resource.”
The Sandler’s, as “Mr. and Mrs. Fish” are based out of Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, and have performed in 20 countries and over 30 states over the past 3 decades.
Their presentations at the Fairview School are sponsored by a collaboration between the Maine Water Environment Association (MEWEA) and the New England Water Environment Association(NEWEA)
