The City of Rochester, NH Dept of Public Works is accepting applications for a full-time Chief WWTF Operator to perform administrative and supervisory work in directing the operation and maintenance of the WWTF and Industrial Pretreatment Program (IPP) plus technical work in the planning, operation, repair, maintenance, and replacement of municipal wastewater systems.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associate degree in civil or sanitary engineering
- Ten years of experience in wastewater
- Five years of supervisory experience in a public utility or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
- Possession of a NH WWTF Operator License, Grade IV
- Possession of a NEWEA Collection System Operator License, Grade IV
- Possession of a NEWEA Wastewater Laboratory Analysts License, Grade I
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
RMID grade 11; Annual pay range $74,503.89 to $100,410.49 dependent upon qualifications and experience. Pre-employment testing to include criminal, driving record, medical and drug screen.
