NEWEA Safety Committee Wastewater Facility Safety Survey for 2015 Work Year
The NEWEA Safety Committee is seeking feedback from your facility for our Annual Wastewater Safety Survey. Surveys are due May 31
The purpose of the survey is to:
- Increase safety awareness and minimize accidents/injuries.
- Collect regional accident and injury statistics and publish them for use by all wastewater professionals to benchmark their safety programs.
- Identify those areas and activities where accidents and injuries are occurring so that we can all better focus our safety efforts and plan resources for these areas in the future.
We would like to thank all of the facilities that returned 2014 work year surveys and we strongly encourage all facilities to participate in the 2015 survey in order to help us increase the value of its results. Click here for the 2014 Safety Survey Results
As a “thank you” for your time and participation, we will enter each facility name from the completed surveys into a random drawing where six (6) facilities will be chosen to each win a $50 gas gift card. One entry per facility.
Completed surveys are due no later than May 31, 2016.
