NEWEA’s Plant Operations Committee in conjunction with MAWEA will host a virtual facility tour and technical presentation about the Uxbridge, MA WWTP on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 from 12 Noon to 2:30 PM.
Learn how this facility dealt with the complex issue of upgrading their wastewater facilities to increase performance and meet tighter regulatory limits. Technical presentations will highlight the recent upgrades at the Uxbridge, MA Wastewater Treatment Plant. Highlights of the tour will include:
- 42.5 MGD Facility to meet BNR goals
- Enlargement of three existing Aeration Basins
- Conversion of two existing chlorination basins to UV Disinfection and much more!
TCH’s for operator recertification will be offered in participating states.
