The Northeast Residuals And Biosolids Symposium will be held on Monday, Oct. 19th and will focus on biosolids in the region. The event will continue with BioCycle’s REFOR15 conference on Tuesday and Wednesday – with some biosolids sessions – followed by a full day of organics recycling tours on Thursday, the 22nd – including biosolids sites. NEWEA is holding its Annual Operations Challenge Golf Tournament on Monday, September 8 in Stow, Massachusetts. Proceeds will go towards offsetting costs of NEWEA Operations Challenge activities and to help send three teams (Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island) to the National Competition at WEF’s Annual Conference in October.
