The CSO/Wet Weather Issues Committee will be hosting a two-day specialty conference & exhibit on October 29-30, 2018 in Portland, Maine.

Join us for a two-day NEWEA CSO/WWI Conference, “Planning for Change” that will discuss and share national and regional working knowledge and experiences on wet weather issues, climate change and resiliency.

The conference will kick off with our keynote speaker, Mohammed Billah, U.S. EPA who will host a question and answer session about wet weather regulatory policies. The conference will also feature a panel discussion with City of Portland, ME officials; a tour of Portland Water District’s East End Facility; a networking social and exhibits hall.  View Program >>

Municipal, state, and federal government employees as well as private consultants, contractors, and researchers involved in developing CSO long-term control plans, integrated wastewater plans, and infiltration and inflow (I/I) reduction programs utilizing gray and/or green strategies to reduce overflows during wet weather events are encouraged to attend.
