NEWEA’s Student Activities Committee will be hosting a Poster Competition on Monday, January 26 from 9:00AM – 3:30PM with a dedicated time for presenters to meet with the judges. Cash Prizes will be awarded for best graduate and undergraduate posters.

Poster Competition Awards Presentation
The Student Activities Committee will be holding the Poster Competition Awards Presentation for all students on Monday afternoon. Join fellow students and meet young professionals and key members of NEWEA.
Monetary prizes will be awarded for the best Undergraduate and Graduate posters.
Sustainability Award: This year, the Student Poster Competition will be introducing a Sustainability Award, which will be awarded to one Graduate and one Undergraduate Student Poster, selected by the NEWEA Sustainability Committee. The Sustainability Award will go to two posters that demonstrate initiative and interest in sustainable practices in their research focus area. Posters will be evaluated by the Sustainability Committee based on technical relevance and using the triple bottom line framework, which focuses on environmental, economic, and social sustainability. The Sustainability Award does not include a monetary prize.
Career Fair
NEWEA will be hosting a Career Fair from 1:00 – 4:30 PM on Monday, January 26. Young professionals interested in careers in water; new professionals looking for a career change; and more experienced employees in the market for a new role are invited to meet with leading water industry employers from throughout New England. A space will be available to do interviews. Individuals must be registered for Monday, January 26 at the Annual Conference to attend the Career Fair. Students attend for free!
