Flow Family Coloring Book*

LaPlante and sponsored by the Narragansett WPCA, the Flow Family is dedicated to educating children and adults on the many ways in which water touches everyone’s daily lives and explains that everyone’s efforts are needed to keep water flowing clean and resourceful.

- Toilet – The toy flushable toilet adds an interactive element to your presentation. Students can “flush” the toilet when they answer a question correctly. We have found this to be a successful strategy to keep students engaged in the presentation, even when presenting to high-schoolers!

Engineering Days for Schools
The fields of Civil/Environmental Engineering, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and environmental science are quickly growing, stable fields that offer excellent salaries and bonuses. Our members would be happy to speak to your High School classrooms for Career Day or Engineering Day and let them know the opportunities that are available.

Stockholm Junior Water Prize
A National and International Science Competition for High School Students, the Stockholm Junior Water Prize is the world’s most prestigious youth award for a water-related science project. The prize taps into the unlimited potential of today’s high school students as they seek to address current and future water challenges.
Important dates: Submission for consideration at the State level by April 15th. State winners announced by May 1st each year. Must be chosen as a State winner to qualify for the National Competition.
