The intent of this session is for NEWEA operators to share some of their creative ideas and innovations (not designed by engineers or manufactured by vendors) that may be of value with other NEWEA operators. This session will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2011.
Presentation Ideas: Some possible presentation topics include tools, equipment, ideas, and methods developed by operators to:

Assist with Maintenance

Assist with Sampling
-
Avoid Expenditures for Costly Specialty Equipment/Supplies

Reduce Labor Cost
-
Reduce Physical Exertion
-
Improve Safety
-
Improve Process or Equipment Performance/Efficiency

Reduce Chemical or Electrical Costs
Presentation Format and Assistance: Each presentation will be 20 minutes (10-15 minute presentation with 5-10 minutes for questions and answers/discussion). The presentations should be informal discussions of the ideas or the items with appropriate handouts or visual aids (objects), overheads, or computer generated presentations (if desired). Computer generated presentations are NOT required.
Also please note that the NEWEA Plant Operations Committee will provide presentation coaching and assist in the development of the presentations if requested.
