The NEWEA Executive Committee is comprised of the Association President, who will chair the meetings, President Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Publications Director, the nine NEWEA Directors, Past President, Meeting Management Director, the WEF Delegates, and the Secretary. The Executive Director shall serve as a non-voting member. With the exception of the Executive Director, all members of the Executive Committee are elected by the membership at the Annual Association Business Meeting. The Executive Committee strives to stimulate interest and active participation in the Association and its activities and supervises Association committees' activities.

The Executive Committee manages the affairs and conducts all business relative to the operation and well being of the Association.
