The Planning Committee analyzes the current status of the Association and identifies its strengths and challenges by asking "What does NEWEA need to do to stay revelant and provide value to our members now and in the future". The committee develops measurable short- and long-term initiatives and action items to leverage its strengths and address its challenges. The Committee plans a 1½ Planning Session and identifies the topics to be addressed prior to the meeting.  Resolutions are developed at the session and action plans are then implemented throughout the following year.
